  • Initial registration is valid for 10 years from the date of application.
  • Renewable for further periods of 10 years upon payment of the renewal fee.

Steps to Register Your Trademark at the National Intellectual Property Office

  2. Prepare Your Application
  3. Print Your Trademark: Get your trademark printed on a separate sheet (maximum size allowed is 10 cm x 10 cm).

  5. Publication Fee: After the examination process, you will be notified to make the publication fee.
  6. Government Gazette: Your trademark will be published in the Government Gazette.
  7. Objection Period: The public has three months to file objections, if any.
  8. Trademark Certificate: If there are no objections, you will receive the trademark certificate.
